What do I do if part of my baggage is missing or damaged?
If at your final destination you find that your baggage has been damaged or is partly missing, follow these steps:
- Contact a LATAM staff member immediately before leaving the baggage claim area at the airport.
- File a claim with your passport or another ID document, boarding card and baggage tag.
If you only noticed when you reached your home or hotel, contact our Contact Center with your flight details to hand for reference purposes.
