I lost my identity card or passport. What can I do to proceed with my trip?
In order to travel you must have a valid identity document. If you are abroad, we recommend that you contact your country's embassy or consulate where you are to solve the problem.
If you lost your travel documents in a flight within your country, you have to file a police report for loss. In the majority of cases you can fly with this document. If this is not the case, speak to a supervisor at the airport to evaluate your situation or call our Contact Center.
If your documents were stolen and you need to make a change or request a refund, you can request this as an exceptional circumstance in accordance with your ticket conditions. For this you will need to provide proof of the application for a new identity document, issued by your country's National Identification Registry or embassy and no older than two weeks from the original date of your flight. Remember that there may be charges on the refund of your ticket, depending on the fare that you bought and your membership category with Elite LATAM Pass. To request an exception due to theft of documents, call our Contact Center.
In the majority of cases in Argentina, you cannot fly with this document. If this happens, get in touch with our Contact Center to evaluate changing your tickets.
