What should I do if part of my baggage is missing or damaged on arrival at my destination?
At the airport, follow these steps:
- Contact one of our staff members in the baggage claim area at the airport.
- Register a claim by presenting your passport or other document of identification, boarding pass and checked baggage sticker.
If you notice the damage after leaving the airport, go to “Help Center” at latam.com and fill in the form (1) under the “Contact Form” option, within 7 days of your trip. For domestic flights within Argentina, you must contact us within 3 days of arrival.
If you have an open baggage claim, you can check the status at any time by selecting “Information for your trip” on our website, under the option “problems with your baggage” , using the Property Irregularity Report code (P.I.R.)
