I lost my identity card or passport. What can I do to continue my trip?
If you’re abroad, we recommend that you contact the embassy or consulate of your country to resolve the situation.
If you lost your documents on a national flight, you have to file a police report for the loss. In the majority of the cases you may fly with this document, and if not, approach a supervisor in the airport or call us at the Contact Center to evaluate your situation.
If you’re traveling within Peru, you can also present your DNI (Documento Nacional de Identidad) [National ID Card], Passport, Driver’s License or Résumé (issued in the Reneic (Registro Nacional de Identificacion y Estado Civil) [National Register of Identification and Civil Status].
If your documents have been stolen, you can call us at the Contact Center and request an exception to the conditions of your ticket to make a flight change or request a ticket return.
Therefore, you’ll need the receipt of the new identity card request, issued by the national register of identification of your country or the relevant embassy, with a maximum of 2 weeks from your flight date.
