What documents do I need to travel on a national or international flight?
The documents that you need will depend on your nationality and the country that you’re going to visit.
Both for national and international flights, you’ll always need your passport or identification card (in good status and with at least 6 months remaining prior to expirationin relation to the return date), but also, when you travel abroad you’d need a visa depending on the country you’d like to visit. Therefore, you’ll need to contact the consulate or embassy of the country.
If you travel with children, in the company of both parents, you also need to present a birth certificate for the minor or family record book but if only one of the parents travels on an international flight, you’ll also need legal consent by the parent who isn’t traveling where it authorizes the minor to travel.
