What is the procedure to carry weapons?

Weapons may only transported in the hold baggage and as long as permitted by local regulations. Additionally, the aeronautical authorities request them to be declared in the airport before checking in baggage.

When you carry weapons, you must go early to the check points and comply with the specific legislation and requirements of the countries of origin, connection and destination of your trip.

If you carry firearms, they must be unloaded, inside their original case and, for ammunition, you can take a maximum of 5 kg. If you take any type of sword, it must go in the original case. We recommend that the case be rigid, well sealed and protected.

Remember that some countries like the United States require these measures to transport weapons.
