What are boarding fees?

It is the amount that the airport authority or operator charges for using its infrastructure and services (boarding lounges, immigration services), which is not included in your fare price.

Some countries may also apply charges or taxes locally that may represent up to 10% of your fare, such as the reciprocity fee that the Chilean state charges North American passengers.

If you would like to find out more about this matter, visit our “Fare Pricing” section.
