Article nameWhat are the connotations of oneworld leaving with regard to my next trips?

Accumulation and redemption

Until April 30, 2020, the accumulation of Qualification Points is still possible with all oneworld airlines. After that date, LATAM will maintain the option of accumulating and redeeming miles with British Airways, Iberia, Qantas, Cathay Pacific, Qatar Airways, Japan Airlines, Finnair, Siberian, Royal Jordanian, SriLankan Airlines and Malaysia Airlines (but not with American Airlines).

Although LATAM will no longer belong to the oneworld alliance, any LATAM Pass Miles/Points or Qualification Points you accumulate on all your trips purchased until April 30 will be reflected in your My LATAM Pass account, even if you travel after that date.

In addition, we will maintain agreements with most oneworld airlines until at least September 2020, with the exception of American Airlines, so you will maintain current conditions.

Qualification Points

Until April 30, 2020, earning Qualifying Points is still possible in order to maintain and upgrade your category with all oneworld airlines. After that date, LATAM will maintain the option of obtaining Qualification Points per flight with British Airways, Iberia, Qantas, Cathay Pacific, Qatar Airways, Japan Airlines, Finnair, Siberian, Royal Jordanian, SriLankan Airlines and Malaysia Airlines (but not with American Airlines).

At the same time you will continue to accumulate Miles/LATAM Pass Points and Qualification Points on flights purchased until April 30, even if you travel after that date on any oneworld airline.

Redeemed tickets

The conditions of your tickets purchased or redeemed with LATAM Pass Miles/Points on oneworld airlines until April 30 will not change, even if you fly after that date.

From that date, agreements with most of Alliance oneworld airlines will be maintained until at least until September 2020, with the exception of American Airlines.
